To get started, you will need to:

  1. Order official transcripts from colleges and universities you have previously attended.

To be considered official, transcripts must be received by us in a sealed, originating college/university envelope. We accept electronic transcripts as long as they are sent directly from your attended institution. If you bring us your transcript in person, the seal on the originating college/university envelope must not be broken. Submission of a previously opened transcript will be considered unofficial and will need to be reordered.

  1. Submit a completed Application for Evaluation of Incoming Credits form.
  2. Send or direct all documents to:

South Seattle College
Attn: Credential Evaluations RSB 045
6000 16th Avenue SW
Seattle, WA 98106

When all documents have been received, the review process can take three to five weeks at peak processing times. You will receive an email notifying you that your request is processed, and details on how your previous coursework applies to your program at South.

Following are the documents and steps required for this option:

  1. An official, sealed copy of an agency evaluation and notarized English translation. The fee charged for this service varies, depending on which agency you select. Make sure the evaluation is ‘Course-by-Course’, or Comprehensive’ and includes the following items:
  2. An official sealed copy of the original transcript from the college/university you attended.
  3. A completed Application for Evaluation of Incoming Credits form.
  4. Send all documents to:
